Connect

Step - Enter Server Informations

Important
Note We do neither provide usernames nor passwords.
Please contact the system administrator of the
server you'd like to connect to.

Step - Connect
- Press
the "Connect" toolbar icon OR
Menu->FTP->Connect OR Control + B
3. Step -
Connecting
A new
window "Remote Window" opens and
SmartFTP is connecting to the server. You can
watch the connecting progress in the "Log
View".
Add
To Favorites
To save this FTP server information (URL, login
and password) for later, click "Favorites
-> Add to Favorites". Then, when you
want to visit this FTP server again, click on
"Favorites" then click on the FTP
server you want.
When you connect, you will automatically be
taken to your personal directory. In the list view window, you will
need to click "Parent Directory" until you are in your root
directory (your-domain.com). You will then need to double-click the
"Web" folder. This is the directory to which you will
upload your website.

Direct - Drag & Drop from Local Browser
- Open Local Browser
(Menu: FTP->Localbrowser or Ctrl + L)
- Select item(s) (files or/and folders) in the Local Browser
- Drag item selection and drop it in the Remote Window.
